TYPES OF MUSIC VIDEOS.

THERE ARE THREE TYPES OF MUSIC VIDEOS :  PERFORMANCE, NARRATIVE, CONCEPT.


PERFORMANCE: 

This type of music video has the band/artist performing the song. It can be very minimal and very focused on the artist. Where the performance is held varies on the type of artist, eg a rap artist may set this type of music video in a recording studio whilst a rock band may record their performance at a gig.

This video was fan made,- put together lots of different fan videos of gigs and tour shenanigans. But because of the popularity of the video and that there was no video made for this song, the record company used this as the official video for the song.













NARRATIVE: 

Narrative music videos show a story. It could be the personal story of the artist/band or could be a narrative story of a view they believe in.

CONCEPT: 

This type of music video is based on an idea/thought. Could be based on political, thoughts on current affairs, and their own beliefs on other things.
